Individual therapy for the things that weigh on you.
Each person who comes to Moss Counseling brings something different. Here's where most of our work begins.
Anxiety
When worry won't quiet down.
Anxiety is one of the most common reasons people seek therapy — and one of the most misunderstood. It's not just nervousness. It can show up as constant overthinking, physical tension, avoidance, or a low-level dread that follows you everywhere.
In our work together, we'll explore what's driving your anxiety, learn to recognize its patterns, and build practical tools to respond differently. The goal isn't to eliminate anxiety entirely — it's to stop letting it run the show.
Depression
When everything feels distant and heavy.
Depression doesn't always look like sadness. Sometimes it looks like numbness, exhaustion, disconnection, or simply going through the motions without feeling present. It can make even small things feel impossible.
Therapy offers a space to be honest about what you're carrying — without judgment, without pressure to 'just feel better.' We'll work slowly and carefully to help you reconnect with yourself and find your way back to a life that feels worth living.
Life Transitions
When the ground shifts beneath you.
Career changes, relationship endings, loss, becoming a parent, leaving a long chapter behind — transitions can unsettle even the most grounded people. They often bring up questions about identity, purpose, and what comes next.
I can help you process what's ending, make sense of what's changing, and find your footing in what's ahead. Transitions are hard. They're also often where the most meaningful growth happens.

Not sure which area fits?
That's completely okay. Most people come in knowing something feels off — not exactly what. We'll figure it out together.
